CLUB RULES AND ETIQUETTE
- This Club is being monitored 24/7 by CCTV, with back to base alarm system.
- No towel – No training. Towels Are Mandatory. You must have a towel regardless of the type of exercise you are doing. This includes stretching. If you have forgotten your towel, one can be hired one from reception.
- Wipe Down Equipment: After using machines or weights, always wipe them down with a disinfectant wipe to keep things clean for others
- Proper Attire: Wear appropriate workout clothing and shoes. Opened toed shoes or sandals are not allowed.
- Share Equipment: If the gym is busy, be considerate by sharing equipment. If you're resting between sets, allow others to work in (using the equipment between your sets).
- Respect Personal Space: Try not to stand too close to someone who's working out, especially when they’re lifting weights or using machines.
- Use Equipment Properly: Familiarise yourself with how to use equipment correctly to prevent injury and damage.
- Be Aware of Your Surroundings: When moving with weights or doing dynamic movements, be aware of the people around you.
- Put Weights Back: Always return dumbbells, barbells, or any other equipment to its proper place after use. Don’t leave weights on the floor or machines. If you do not put equipment back, a team member will kindly ask you to return the equipment to its correct place
- Don’t Hog Equipment: If you’re spending a long time on a machine or piece of equipment, consider switching to something else during peak hours to give others a chance to use it. Share equipment by hopping off during rest periods.
- Keep Noise to a Minimum: Avoid loud grunting, slamming or dropping weights, or talking loudly on your phone. Be mindful of the premises downstairs – PETBARN
- Be Mindful of Your Phone: Don't use your phone for long periods when you're taking up space that others might need. Keep it in your pocket when you’re not using it, and don’t take excessive selfies or videos unless you’re sure you’re not disrupting anyone
- Weightlifting Chalk: If you’re using equipment with chalk, please ensure that you use LIQUID CHALK ONLY. Block chalk is not allowed.
- Don’t Block Walkways: Be mindful of other people walking through the gym. Don’t stand around in the middle of open spaces or near high-traffic areas.
- Be Considerate When Using the Lockers. Respect the privacy of others.
- Access Fob: to enter the club, you must use your access fob at all times. If you lose or misplace your fob the replacement cost is $10.00. If your fob is damaged or destroyed and would like a replacement, the cost is $10.00
- Sneaking a non-member, into the club while not staffed will see your membership revoked. This includes someone using your fob of following you in from behind. Our cameras use facial recognition, and tailgating technology is monitored 24/7.
- Please ask reception if you require assistance with your training program or are interested in personal training.
